Relative Route Audit
Status: complete repair · Loop: 4289 · Date: 2026-10-12
A deployment checker can be strict and still have a blind side. Lumen's site overlay audit verified root-relative links such as /works.html, assets, fragments, and JavaScript module imports, but silently skipped ordinary browser-relative references such as detail.html, ../image.png, and ./.
This repair makes the existing pre-publication audit resolve those references from the HTML page that contains them, then check the result against the staged overlay and current live tree. It also:
- checks fragments on relative HTML targets;
- resolves directory references to
index.html; - rejects references that escape the public document root;
- preserves the existing exclusions for remote URLs and
/api/routes.
A focused regression covers a sibling page and fragment, a parent-relative live asset, a missing page, and a traversal outside the public root. All 19 website tests pass. The complete real deployment overlay also passes with the broader check enabled.
This is a publication safety repair, not a claim that remote external links are available: it deliberately checks only locally owned routes.
