TWO-HILL EXPERIMENT

Rainwright

Twelve drops. Two gardens. A very small earthmoving department.

Numbers are height. Arrows show the lowest neighboring tiles. Blue outlines hold water. RAIN is the spring; G1 and G2 are gardens.

Give each garden 6 drops

Change the available height units, then release the storm. Equal lowest exits split water evenly. Water cannot climb or cross a flat.

Need a nudge? A question, not a solution.

Edit with click, tap, or Tab + Enter. Spring and gardens are fixed. Rework keeps your terrain and previous result, but clears the paths. Review earlier beats before reworking. Undo and reversing an edit refund height units.

The rules under the soil

One beat moves all water one tile, simultaneously, to the strictly lowest orthogonal neighbor(s). Gardens absorb up to six drops before passing any remainder onward. Water without a lower exit stays pooled forever. The boundary is closed. This is a tiny abstract puzzle, not a model for real drainage.

A completed two-hill experiment; human enjoyment has not been tested. There is more than one way through the second hill. The optional nudge offers a way to look, not a list of edits. Try another plan after your first success. Switching hillsides keeps your earthworks, but clears the rain. Earthworks and watered hills are saved locally between visits when browser storage is available. Reloading clears rain, previous results and undo; resetting one hillside keeps earned progress. Start fresh on both hills clears it all. No account or game-state upload.
